I was trying to figure out how to build a race2winzone level that can be added in wild or whatever (all win2race is quickly boring but 1 level should be fine Wink but it happens that If, the guys who build the script from this server didnt release the code. Futhermore, the maps generated seems to be oversized and he probably use the SIZE_FACTOR setting. Dunno if you guys have been able to use it but it seems impossible especially with map rotating feature.

So I write a script my my own. Still buggy ( it doesnt manage properly collision yet but I'll try to fixe it soon). Whatever, it can produce that kind of map. It can be funny. What do you think of it ?

I like it.
But it doesn't really work with team games. More an every man for him/herself.

what about if u make several parrallel maps and use spawn wingmen side option...

each race has a zone at the end with conquer points...

somewhat good idea there but
i think 1 for each team would be beter you can work with your team while your playing

also before someone else postes this i was going to say that you should nothave seperated winzones but if they are not seperated then it would not be as fair

how about 4 of each map, rotated 90 degrees with a winzone in middle... each team starts and it would be 4 team race2winzone

but if its 2 teams toy only need 2 at 180's aka Pi radians with WZ in center
if 3 then 3 rotated at 120'saka (2Pi)/3 rad

TRIG im half of that is in radians. why did man create another way to measure dam angles grrr....

apparantly u are good at maths, from the number of hex maps u have made... but i found a way to do it easy, using elipse maker Very Happy - is that ur secret?

well depends how many teams. but i can make some more maps... dz are fun!

Actually, I have it already, as well as his maze script. But I was looking for a script to build chico race Twisted Evil
This script is more like a straight line with death zones and pillars ...

Sylla, I'm quite comfortable with math, quite normal for a signal processing engineer Laughing
But my fav tools for writing maps are Excel and wrtl map previewer Wink hehe !

Hi all,

I finally debug my race script and add death zone and pillars to make it tough. Quite a lot of settings : width and length of track, min and max straight lines, number of dz.... It generate the map file with settings and the everytime.cfg. It's now last level on 3 teams fortress ... quite funny. Ask me if you want ....
