well ed, wasn't a 28 rows problem now is growing, the problem is that i'm not showed there, but u can search me and find me... strange,

take a look at the script to c why some players aren't showed.

gerard and pod aren't showed 2 and they were playing with me like and hour...

As well as the table used to display the stats, the parser also writes to 2 more tables.

The reason I included these was for an extra function to the ladders, where you can input 2 names and it will tell you how many times p1 has dumped/tked p2 and vice versa. I just haven't written it yet.
I think your solution is more efficient. Just another tweak.

It only shows players who have won >= 50 rounds. You need to build up some rounds.

Where the values are added to as you play. The timestamp merely records your last action.
What I have in mind is a new timestamp being created each day. So in effect every player has a record of his play each day.
This means we'll be able to show stats from only the last month or 20 days or whatever by colating the days we choose. Shouldn't be too difficult to put in place.
The same can be done for what wrtl suggested.
Any thoughts?

with the player vs player stat, could you have a "worst enemy" and "best enemy" (or whatever) to show who kills you the most and who you kill the most?

Ok, made the changes. We now have just 2 tables.

No changes to ladder_count except that a new record is created for each player for each day, so much more usable data.
As well as being able to limit the timeframe of the data shown, you could also see a day by day account of a users progress. And many more interesting things I can't think of right now.

new table replaces the 2 mentioned ^ there, as suggested:

this works in the same way, a new record will be created for each day.
I will update the stats page to reflect this.

Oh and I cleared all the current data off. I have no plans to clear it again, do your worst.

And wrtl, your hack works a treat, single player data is not written to the logs, so don't think you can bump up your stats by beating armagetron.

New Ladder Field. Where do you come?

I think we need a ladder built from an amalgamation of various stats. Here's how it works it out:

( ave_cordumps - ave_coredumped - ave_teamkilled - ave_suicides ) x %age rounds_won

so for me and infa at time of writing:

inf: ( 1.16 - 0.25 - 0.02 - 0.04 ) x 75.41 = 64.09 < the ladder has a more accurate figure as it doesn't use rounded values
ed: ( 0.67 - 0.36 - 0.05 - 0.12 ) x 60.28 = 8.43 <

I've tried various different method, every one infa comes out way in the lead. He should play blindfolded or something.

So to get a good standing:

Win all your rounds
coredump lots of people
don't get coredumped, teamkilled or suicide

I think this describes a good player. You can't just be on the winning team, you need to help too.
Points is not included as this is so closely linked with coredumps it's not necessary.
Teamkills is not used, most of the time you can't control if a team mate kills himself on your wall.

Feel free to tear the algorithm apart. I'd like suggestions on improving it.
