looking at it we need to get rid of one round (a four axis one) and get another chico/penta... seriously

I find the chico/penta maps more of a novelty than anything else. I think one round per match is more than enough.
There used to be 2. I find the place far more fun now that I merged them into one.

The reason there so many of these maps is that they are the easiest maps to make.

4 axis are the easiest to make... just get a square a few walls and ur done

chico u have to be careful and know exactly where to put the zones, how close they are etc

and u have to be able to use the elipse maker with much skill (or be a genius)

Or just use inkscape and svg2aamap, that's the easiest way

Hi wrtl, love the new map with circular walls and the staggered starting points, nice.

my favourites are the chicos and hexas, would it be possible to have a 10-20 second 'victory parade' at the end of one of the chicos where the winning team gets some playtime after winning the round just to mess around a bit with no pressure from other team. i.e. can the delay between match won and new start be extended

That'd require another hack, as the time after the winning message is hardcoded. Even worse, it's in gGame.cpp, which is a big pain to edit and on schedule for being rewritten for ages.
Anyways, the dead people would get bored I guess. What's everyone's opinion on it?

It might be fun, just occasionally, at random perhaps, to get extra time to parade and gloat.
It would have to be coupled with a center message "Gloating Time for Orange Poo" or something.
Maybe not at random, maybe only if a team wins the round without loosing a player, but only if there are 5 or more players on both teams. Something worth fighting for.
It would be nice to have extra interesting features like that.

yeah but u would have to turn the dz off and also if one team wins by capturing all the zones, then the other team might be alive therefore kills can still take place... kinda not gloatish
