I'd like to introduce wrtlprnft as a new admin at CT Wild Fortress.

I quite simply don't have the time. I have a large project at work which will take me well into the start of next year, and with a busy home life also, I barely get a chance to play let alone run a server.

I think it best CT Wild is kept fresh with new changes, rather than remain the same for months.

I hope you all wish wrtlprnft the best of luck, and don't be too hard on him if he does something you don't agree with.
Saying that, I'm sure he will value you opinions on changes he makes.

As always, changes won't be made on the outcome of a poll - unless wrtl chooses to start one.

wrtlprnft is the best man for the job.
We have noone here with the experience of running a server of this complexity, who has the time to do it.

Anyhow, I'll still be around, I just think we need to keep the server fresh.

Besides Z-man (obviously), wrtl is probably the next best to be admin of a fort server like the Wild Fort. (Luke-Jr., Luci, Tank, all those people don't have much time).

Why??? Wrtl: did you change all the map locations. Now, each time (until I get all the maps again) it downloads the map from me. Why couldn't you just keep the map file to ed/fortress. Maybe ed/wildfort will make it easier to organize...I don't know...o well...

Well, there was a change as to where the settings are loaded from. Before they were in the map (using <Setting> tags), which means we had to bump the map version for every map-specific setting we wanted to change. As I wanted to introduce points for conquering zones on some maps, this seemed to be the first logical step.
Bear with it, hopefully they don't need to change again anytime soon now.

Ok good, because just setting FORTRESS_CONQUERED_SCORE to 1 affected every map. Good idea.

wrtlprnft has, obviously, no vowels, but it is somewhat pronouncable in German.
My grade 4 math teacher used to used it in questions where he needed some kind of name, so he chose „wrtlprnft” or some kind of other spelling, I can't remember.
Anyways, first time I needed to login somewhere I just used it, and this nick has the advantage of not being in use anywhere

And no, I'm not in any way related to wrtprmft, who seems to be some kind of very weird guy.

wrtl is fine, of course, waaay better than misspelling the name

I changed it so you now only get points on some maps with multiple zones.

I WANT MORE MAPS!!! I love new maps...PUT IN MORE!!!

Gotta balance it somehow. I don't want to make too many changes at once as some players will hate that (they already do, ask crsp ).
But there will be gradual changes, of course, to keep it interesting

like integrating nano slingers? look at it if u want... ppl say its fun...


btw what is the round structure now? what levels are chico, nano, hexa etc
