Some stuff I got on my comp for a while. I've tought a few month ago building a server for a "more-than-two-teams" fortress. And finally I focus on a 3 teams fortress because you need quite a lot of people to start the fun with more than 3. I never finished them until I dig it out yesterday and here it is. So before I crash my comp or decide to reformat HD for a new linux distro or anything like that ... Most of the maps were inspired from CT wild and I've done a couple of maps more yesterday. Here are pictures of my work on this :

They look like fun.
I toyed with the idea of a 3 team fortess.
But as you're aware, 4 axes and 3 team is hard to make fair. So you need stranges axes, 6,9,12, etc to make a 3way symmetrical map.
Nice looking maps though.

6 exes is the best choice it's so fucking crazy, i like the maps we have in that way, them make u crash the brain.

Actually I turn it on tonight. Hope we can test it... but no complain about lag. It's on my comp behind a DSL connection so it will not be so good ...

one or two of the diagrams are inaccurate (missing zone etc) and 6 axis are hard to make.

Voodoo has made all of the maps.
but he made then a while ago

right now he is going to try to host it just to test

sylla make sure you read everything(read between the lines it tells you a lot)

forgot to say lots of my map ideas recreated for 3 axes

i knew but i couldnt believe. and besides i was in a hurry

3 axis --> 6 axis

They are all done and work fine but need some testing/fixing. Some options as tail length must definitly be adjusted on some maps.
I've already set up different servers on my comp (basically just to see if I can make it ) but never turn them accessible through internet. And that's currently the point : when I connect myself to the server through local network, everything's fine. It loads the map from the resource URI I set up and works properly : 11 rounds for 11 maps. But when I connect through internet, I just have a "waiting for real players" and nothing happens. Logs don't talk that much so I dunno what really happens...
I probably have to post on arma forum.

I saw it up once, but when I tried to connect I couldn't download the map.
Did you set up a repository?
If not you can use the CT one.

I've set up one but I think that's the way I set it up which is the problem. May be better if I use CT one anyway ... But I need an account to do it

Ok, Fixed now. Firewall tweaking was required

Anyway, I'll leave the server running for a while. Feel free to give me feedback ...

this map something is wierd with the zones



this maps defence rate is off should be 6 times attack .1 and .6 would work



All maps should have a points system for each zone
Each zone should be divisible by 2 IE small zones worth a minimum of 2
Biggere zones probably 60
Maybe let all maps have the same about of possible points in them


Other then those things its a great server
high ping but not really lag slidey

I booked the 9 slots tonight and the idea seems to please some. Any idea is welcome (especially map's one of course ). May be we can made the next CT training session there
