Couple of changes made.

I think I fixed the deathzone now. Should appear after 5 mins.
Not tested, let me know if it's ok.

Max players is now 8, 4 a-side.
Any more than this and there's just too many players, it becomes respawn city and you're often left not really knowing what to do.

The flag now blinks erratically, not sure if this is a good thing. But you always know who has the flag.

I think it's coming along. I've had lots of fun there when it'a about 3/4 a side.
Any more suggestions please post them here.

DZ's work now, so the low fps isn't so common, less players helps this too.
4 v's 4 is much much better.
I've made the base fortress zones 20% smaller. You are able to "defend" the opponents base now (if you're good enough).

Was going to say that u shouldnt be able to respawn ur enemies, however after further thought this aint bad as when being a smart arse and defending the ENEMY base, its more of a challenge

Nice server, nice maps , but i dont know how i play in this server... , what i have to do for win?

Basic rules for those who haven't played the original...

Each team has one home zone (the large zone )
and one flag zone (the small zone).

To score 3 points you must collect your teams flag (the one near the enemy base) and return it to your teams home zone.
You can only return your flag home if the other teams flag is back on it's original spot.
When you sucessfully take your flag home it will be returned to it's original spot.

The player carrying the flag will have a flashing zone around him. If you kill him (or he dies), he will drop his flag.
If you touch the fallen flag of the other team, it will be returned to it's original spot.
If you touch the fallen flag of your own team, you will become the flag carrier.

Respawning:
If you touch your home zone you will respawn all your teams dead players.
If you touch the opponants zone you will respawn all their players.

good job ed, the new maps give it some lifespan and the edge over groundpigs version (even though it has 2 times more rubber).

i think that the nano level has too much acceleration, as i was going speeds of 30+ sometimes. and because of this the cycle turn factor was affected. if u want to keep the speeds ok, but change the turn factor.

also the zones are a bit too big. (except chico).

It is this way to make it a challenge. Don't want those flags too easy to defend. Besides, you have a fairly decent brake, choose wisely when to use it.
If you're good enough you can defend your flag.



You talking since I made them smaller, have you read this thread? Been there lately, I'm tweaking things all the time.
If you still think they're too small, explain why. I think they're about right now.
Except chico, I'mm thinking about making them smaller to add more challenge there.

ok thats good, and all i accept ur points. but is the flags still in the middle for the nano level? they are very easy to get to... mabye if u put them closer to the homezone?

oh and i have an idea for a map. get little columns and put the flag in one of the columns (mabye second from right). then put the spawn zone ACROSS like three other zones on the other side (also second from the left, so zone would go across 2nd, 3rd and 4th).

also u know expanding circles in dogfight? make the two flags in the middle and put the bases at the back of the starting position
