I think this is how CTF works on other formats, like Quake, etc. I don't know, I don't play them.
But it's mighty frustrating if an enemy has the flag and just avoids confronation. Back to the days of camping.
I've checked the settings, can't find a way to disable/alter it.
What I'd really like is, if the flagholder hasn't returned it to his base in n seconds, it returns to it's spot.

I think the hack, as it creates new zones, uses more and more of your system memory, thus slowing it down.
Me, I've got 2Gb of Ram, mine never dropped below 150fps. So I can't test that one.
Can't change it either.

I thought I'd given it one, must be a conflict somewhere. It will be rectified next restart.
Although you can limit match time (currently 30mins), you can't do the same with round times (if anyone know's differently, let me know).
So, it'll have to be a Death Zone. Probably after about 5 mins into each round.
