Forums have been more inactive and, being a posterific member, have decided to post a topic about being bored, which I am. If you don't have video games, what do you do to pass by time when bored? I have a 4 hour break between classes at my university, and I live an hour away (I drive each day sadly). So, i'm stuck here. Post boredom strategies!

Well I program tron (the many different ways) I have 4.5 hours between classes (i spend 2 hours as a TA)

Read a book, bring your laptop, do homework, watch a movie, schedule yourself for closer classes,sleep, make spam topics on arma forums. eat, jump rope, smack a baby, make new friends, eat some more. just ideas :p

read. you can learn much more by reading for an hour than by sitting in a lecture hall for an hour

Learn an instrument! If there are pianos/keyboards at your university you can practice on them.

Usually my fun doesnt start until I get into bed, Idt I have to explain the rest..

Since you're thinking of CS maybe you could try Project Euler. I'm not sure how much you like math though.

If your doing CS pick up another programming language or two.

I'm no longer a CS major, but I think I might try to pickup a programming language regardless... C++? Or which?
Agreed Conc. A lot of my time goes towards reading, but most of it is required, sadly. I do personal studying more than I take notes in class though. More beneficial.

I've been wanting to pick up either piano or acoustic guitar, both of which I could use the univerity's instruments, but I can't seem to find the time . Any suggestion on which one would be easier to pickup if I'm starting from scratch? I like all of these ideas though. Thanks everyone
