Well, it does look like a variation of it.

Yeah, in case you don't know what it is, I'll explain it to you. The digits from 0-9 represent what they usually do. The letters just pick up where those digits left off. A represents 10, B 11, and so on until Z represents 35.

To represent the number in base 36 in base 10 (what everyone other than kyle and computers use), go from right to left. Multiply the first number by 36^0=1, the second number by 36^1=36, the third number by 36^2=1296, and so on. Then add those products together to get your answer.

Ex: 2LO
O is 24, L is 21, and (surprisingly) 2 is 2

So it is 24*1+21*36+2*36^2=24+756+2592=3372

If you look at gonzap's post total by putting your mouse over it before he makes another post, you'll see that's true.
