my wording was poor as well, on a second read.
I meant more that in some ways this referee is representing all of FIFA when he steps out onto the pitch, just as Michael Bradley represents America when he puts on the jersey. In any case, we've been robbed worse before (vs. Germany 2002) and will be robbed worse again. |
