Ed, just a small recomendation...

Make chico maps with <Axes number="32"/> instead of 36

Why? 8 gold + 8 blue players = 16 players.

36 / 16 = fraction, which meens you can't have a pie like start postion, since the axes are split up to create all the possible vectors of a bike.
32 / 16 = 2 ie: integer, which meens you CAN have a pie like start postion

Now if the above style of start postions was used with 4 players, 36 would work, but 36 / 8 = 4.5, so with 5 or more players the pie like shape would not meet in the middle.

I'mah try to make a temporary chico sumo server. if you see it, drop by to see what i meen.

Temporary server was a success, a litle math a sin/cos capable calculator and I worked out all the start positions to meet at a single point in the middle of the map (assuming you don't turn).

I will change it to 32 axis. Make sense. Think I just took a number and used it. Will make it mildly more controllable too.
Although the player limit for the Wild Fortress is set to 12, has been for a while.
Some maps were just too crowded with more than this and dying needlessly became frustrating.
Also the lag on the Chico levels was immense with all the keypresses having to be relayed from each client to the server then back to each client. Even with 12 players it's hard, but that's part of the skill. You need trust in your fellow players cause you often don't know where they are until a few die that is. To survive the first few seconds is part of the battle.

I'm gonna try and make these changes and many more to the fortress today.
