Then he enters the server and makes two or three polls and leave immediatly .

I tried to kick him but people were lost and always voted against, so I've been kicked for poll spamming .

He entered the game calling himself z-man saying he was testing new tk kick features, whish is why he was killing everyone.
So he obviously know a bit about the game to know who the main man is.

He then went on to say:

which confirms it wasn't z-man as he wouldn't take credit for the maps he didn't design. Or has the means to rid of.

he also said he was working on a way to remove the lag from chico. Good luck fake z-man.

He went on to issue polls left right and centre, name changing throughout. Must have been very annoying.

I got his ip, but it is a dynamic one. I tracked down the source of dymamic ip.
if it happens again, post here and at least I can report it to them.

ya I see what you mean its hard to kick someone like that. He still is back and I almost got kicked along with him but both me and the fake me left. I found out what he is doing though he is coming in with a color on his name so on the polls he cant be picked up for an extra space like it was before. Itâ??s not too big of a nuisance, but he always fakes me leaving me open to getting kicked in the situation. Tonight/this morning he admitted to being the fake though. He copy the good people and make them look bad.

Sorry Tchii, as annoying as it is. Until some kind of password protection is in place, there's nothing I can do.

It's the open nature of the game.

It's possible to do one thing: I can prevent players from changing the nickname (in fact: if someone changes it, he will be kicked the next round). But then no player is allowed to change the name.

I would go along with this.
We can try it out at least. Maybe just issue a 5 min ban.

Ya and he was back tonight. he didnâ??t change his name he went in put up polls then left then went back in as the same of different name put poles up and repeated until he got board. the thing that he dose is make his name Background as white so the poll's both look the same and is impossible to kick.

use the chat command /players to pick his number and control him when he change name and then u can kick him....

I tell you what would be helpful, If someone happens to be on the server with one of these "fakers", if they shout FAKER in their chat, with the name of the faker. If they then post here the approximate time, I will easily find them in the logs and then add them to my list of "ban from servers for 2 years" list.

cant u give all cters the right to shout FAKER and then name, and the faker gets a timeout? say 1 hour?
