I haven't personally used it but some of my friends have and they say it's great. I'm taking a cs class and I'm learning Racket and OCaml and I'm planning on using Code Academy to learn some other language (maybe python?) over winter break. Also, like I mentioned, if you are into math at all, projecteuler is another great way to learn coding and do some hard and interesting problems at the same time. Lastly, I have some resources that I can send you in pm.

I think it's easier to get to a proficient level on a piano than a guitar simply because the piano is easier to play. But then again, you're expected to play more complicated pieces on a piano. But both shouldn't be too hard to pick up. When you first start, it's probably best to buy a book so you can play some simple songs. Make sure not to skip on the scale exercises and make sure to practice scales. They're boring but they really help you get good. After a while, you'll play well enough to actually work on some real songs. (That's the level I am at right now on the piano: learning Moonlight Sonata) and then it's much easier to improve from there. Note that this advice is the same for either instrument.

When I'm bored I play tron.. about 10 mins in ill stop and check ct forums... after 5 mins I am like ohshit im sooooo bored so I go on facebook for thirty seconds (I don't get any notifications ) then I go back to ct forums and say ohshit im still bored. SO then I pm different ct members boat loads of spam topics that they usualyl read from returning from vacation ( more like a hey, I like pie) then... I just pace.
