Well, the world will end everywhere but not in the US, it has been made official

The world will not end on December 21, 2012, or any day in 2012.

But 2013: that's when the world is actually gonna end.

They keep forgetting about this thing that takes atoms and accelerate them to something close to c and them projects them in opposite directions resulting in a bang. One of these bangs will create something that we all know about, and the land around France and Sweden will suddenly vanish. it will keep extending outward until it engulfs the whole earth, it will continue to pull the moon and eventually planets and our sun. It will have a force so powerful as it grows that Voyager 1 and 2 will get pulled into it. And this Atom Smashing will take place Dec 21, 2012.

France and Switzerland, no? are you talking about the CERN's LHC?
