The International Sumo League (ISL) is in the 1v1 team sumo format. This means each player on a team plays a 1v1 match against a player of another team. Whichever team wins more individual 1v1 games, wins the match. Here is a full description of the format. Matches are on saturdays.

Before the season begins, captains will gather to bid for players in an auction-style draft. More information for captains can be found here.

The first season will be short and small. There will be 4 teams and 28 players (+4 captains). Sign ups are now open. If you want to be a captain, read the captain page first, and then please PM me.
