I've changed 2 things for target message : it now use colored name + there's an extra center message that you can't miss !

About random assignment, it is using the following logic :
First take all cycles as potential target.
Exclude dead cycles
Exclude teammates
Sort them according to their distance to this cycle
Restrict to closest ones if possible (i.e. if there's at least 1 cycle following the rule)
Sort by number of hunters (i.e. looking for less targeted cycles first)
Finally, scramble remaining cycles at take the first one.

I just realize I might exclude 'this' cycle (the one I'm looking a target for) as target assignment will silently ignores it ...

well we played today earlier and it crashed again

I've check that one again. I might be able to look at this memory issue today. It's still some kind of wrong pointer access, as it keeps crashing in cycle's destructor within a seemingly harmless stl loop ... so yeah it sucks

@ kill & MB: I've added a custom language file into the /servers/assa.../language directory. Feel free to put colors and fun into cycle_target messages.
@all: I put some colours in the name as requested, some explainations about the rules when you join the game (feel free to adjust colours and texts as I did it really fast).

Some more bug fix and a little more tweaks.
I need to see it crowded TONIGHT cause I'm leaving to holidays tomorrow evening ...
If it still crashs, we'll put it down till I managed to get more time for it.

Otherwise, I'll rebuild without debug options, remove the TESTING warning and let it flows ...

god I suck. Time to take some holidays. I fixed a type in a silly copy/paste. It doesn't cancel targets anymore

edit: btw, sorry for the players who were there when I killed the server, not really nice of me :/

Edit2: holiday time now. I hope i'll be able to do better when i'll be back (well i was programming at work and was not able to test properly for not being able to run armagetron client in my client openspace)... Anyway, i was trying to end this before holidays but being in a rush is often a good way to do things plainly wrong

we've been testing it and i seems it crashes whenever somebody leaves right after the targets assignment. Maybe there's some kind of bug that if somebody leaves there's a gap in the targets assignment and then it crashes.

Also, if you got a target and it gets killed, and you got another and it immediately gets killed too, the system does not provide you of another target.

I've never seen anyone in it, kind of wanted to try it at some point.
