on wednesday, september 1st sometime between 6:15 pm and 6:45 pm in CTWF the player "maglassi" admitted to using a hack....

dont know if its true or not but he seemed quite proud of it..... i do know that many players have long speculated that something was going on due to his unusual ability to turn against walls perfectly and at times drive thru them..... its one thing to play against someone who is better than you (although i have never had this problem ) it is quite another to wonder if the physics of the game will remain intact while battling another player.....

i dont know your policy on this or, like i said, if it is factual or not but i thought i should pass the information along...

hmm, it is true that magglass' performance is quite unusual then any other normal player.
Like 808 has said, he can always make tight turns sticking to walls, and it really surprises you when he does it on the maps which have 8+ axes.

Yeah I've known about this for a while too. Not sure exactly the mechanics, but as woned insinuates, some editing of the arma code of the game.

His excuses are that whereas other people have skill in playing such as reaction times, etc. his skill is editing code, so thats his justification.

All that he can do is make perfectly aligned turns: Either grinding close to a wall on an outside or inside corner grind, and also making it through the small holes that are on certain CTWF maps.

hint: u can trap him in small boxes with one very small open corner

on nano it still can take one minute until he explodes inside it

what exactly is the point in playing a multiplayer game if we dont all play by the same rules? Hes a fucking cheater, readily admits it and is a complete dick on top of it....

its becoming a real downer every time i play in CTWF and he is there.... people regularly say things like "wow maglassi... you're amazing"..... whats amazing to me is that the powers that be dont respond to this.....

like i said.... whats the point of playing a multiplayer game if we accept people hacking the system to their own advantage....

Calm down there, his Bots are pretty dumb. Yes, they can outside grind. But they die often. Also, the Bot just doesn't know what a Zone is.

its not a bot roze, my guess is he holds a button and when he reaches an outside corner grind, he turns automatically.

But yeah, thankfully he only plays in CTWF, but I doubt he'd be able to play in fort or sumo, since he'd get kicked by their sensible residents.

shouldnt a known, admitted hacker/cheater be banned? or at least his login be taken away.... every time i bring up his hack he polls me....

well you have to know deleting his account won't do much...
