I play in CTWF quite a bit again and usually I shuffle to center right away which noobs don't care about, but then when I split or tell people to split earlier, I've gotten these responses:
You're supposed to split right!!!11
Wtf?
Why are so many people telling me I'm supposed to split to the right side in ctwf? I try to convince them center can decide that him/herself, but no, I keep getting told the same thing. Am I missing something? |

Often, new players are told that center splits right, because for them this is the best tactic that everyone can survive. If cetner splits right, they know that pos 3 has to split earlier than if he would split left. |

If you are playing in CTWF, and there are quite a few noobs, then just split right. It just makes it easier, and you end up with less TKs, and you cover the defence better. |

I didn't ask for advice on what direction to split, just wondered why all the noobs are trying to tell me. |

For this and several other reasons, I have been convinced for a while now, that the most fun positions to play in CTWF are positions 2 and 3. |

I remember that happening to me a couple years ago playing CTWF. I don't know how decided that the center splits right, but it's not a new idea. |
