The sister of my wife had to go to London, and finally she decided to go by bus from Valencia to Bilbao, and in ferry from Bilbao to Plymouth, and train between Plymouth and London.

btw, volcano eruption are normal in island... we just think it's a drama because of the hole in the iceberg which producted by chimical reaction ( water changed the organisation of the magma ) the cloud of ash ^^

my gf wanted to go to NYC too with some friends of her

their plane did not take off, so she decided to stay, but her plane was supposed to take off

so she wanted to cancel her flight, so someone else could enjoy the seat (probably badly needed by some...)

but the wonderfully awsome french company "opodo" decided not to pick up... any of her 100 calls or so (she and one of her friends called every minute from 17:00 to 19:00 while watching TV for 3 days)

so she had to pay the ticket and no one was seated at her place...

how sad.

Proof, I'm sure they overbooked the flight and still had someone sitting there. She just got stuck paying.
