Where: Wild West Wild Fortress Servers
Description: Wild Fort Tourney Double Elimination Tourney will be held in Ww Wild Fortress. Settings will be default to the server. Sign up on the forum if you want to participate.

If you want to play in this tournament, but do not want to download or use the TR2NOrigins client, you now have another option download and install the appropriate client here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/armagetronad/files/experimental/0.2.8_t2o_a20100124/. Also, you will need to register for a forum account on the TR2NOrigins forums to auth. Your global id will be your_user_name@stats. When you enter a server, the easiest way to login is to type in chat /login your_user_name@stats.

I particularly would love to see a Crazy Tronner team sign up! CT won the last Wild Fortress Tourney, and I would love my Ww team to have another shot at CT!

I don't think I will play this tournament, I don't really like the concept to close the game to some users only and being forced to auth.

I would love CT to play Ww too!

In my eyes its just a bad clone and can be really bad for our community, because i dont think there can be 2 healthy communities next to each other.

I'll be setting up arma 0.3 next few days, if I find time to do the same with t2o I'll sign up.

Teams will be completely random or some captains will choose players?

Btw I don't think our clan is that active between 23 and 01 GMT, so i don't think we'll make it.

the only thing i dislike, besides it being 0.2.8 based is that all the authentication is done on 1 system,

The thing I like about it is it creates a little competition for arma developers. which really is good for us in the long run.
Hopefully they will also provide some bugfixes to us if they find any, as it is based on out Sty+ct

I thought that the time might not work, but I thought that I would post anyway. Also, since we do now have a launchpad site, it is easier for you guys to take bugfixes from us, and vice versa.
