on the arma forums, i have started a topic about a website that i have created for ladles on armagetron, right now it only has but the previous 3-4 brackets/team/players information about them. It is going good but from advice from compguygene and sinewav, it would be nice to put a section for player ladle statistics...such as the statistics u guys have for your ladders......in order to get the scripts or what ever is needed, compguy said that kyle or ed would be able to possibly supply the scripts from some of the ladle servers, if this is possible i would greatly appreicate it (:

if u guys would like to help me with it (very teadious work so probably not) that would be appreciated as well.

well our ladle servers don't run on our sty+ct hacks which a lot of our stats are created by the ladderlog.txt output. we also don't keep logs for more than a week, sometimes less. so we have the regular ladderlog.txt from ladle 28 that is it, we usually generate our stats while the servers are running so you would have to feed the ladderlog.txt file into a script to generate the data. Also we only have stats for 1 match of the ladle you would have to ask all the other server owners for theirs too. so i am not sure what you want / need for it. All our scripts would have to be drastically modified to fit your needs.

alright then i dont think there is a need to change up all the server stuff or script runs just for them statistics....most likely then i will go through wiki and get the brackets and player teams for the website......i no getting player stats by hand would be almost impossible...having to record each server and going bak to count every instance where an action occures.....pointless

maybe we could write a script that will work from console history?

server owners send a copy of the console log, then the script ouputs data INW wants

that would be great k-yo, and if i have to manually count up the kills and times killed, i might actually do that...getting the history will work i think......the work will be very teadious but i think in the end, it will be worth it

of course for the player stats, they will have to start from ladle 28 and up possibly ladle 29 and up....that is ok, ill just specify that in my statistics table.

INW: which info would you like extracted from those?

information similar to that of your ctwf new ladder.....kills, killed, suicides, zones, match wins, round wins....etc.

if it is too much then i would like the basic- kills, killed, match wins, round wins at the least

i think doing kills suicides etc is to complicated for a start
cover the basics and improve over time
