The first CTF w/ FortFzx tournament will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2009 @ 18:00 GMT. Grab 3 other players and go sign up! Hopefully there will be at least 8 teams. The wiki has all the information you'll need, but if you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

I updated the settings to v2. Please update your config files with the correct settings:


Also, make sure you add the team captains with the correct access_level (at least 7):

Since this is a relatively new game type, I would suggest reading over the settings again, just in case you missed some important things like how you can score even if the other team has your flag or that the rim speeds you up.

Anyways, hopefully there will be a good turnout tomorrow. If you suddenly are short players, go ahead and grab someone and add them to your team, but make sure they only play with you and don't team-hop.

So the tournament starts tomorrow (Sunday) @ 18:00 GMT. Because of the number of team signups, 5 teams have byes and won't start until 18:45 GMT.

Everything you need to know is on the wiki, so if you're confused, you should probably check it out. If you're still confused, don't hesitate to post your question!

who won?

the final was a bit strange ... some guys like me had to leave so it can not be counted as a real final ... this is a copy of what liza wrote on our forums:

Well we (Subz, Dread, FoFo, me) did pretty good vs. Revolutionaries, won 2-0. Then in the semi final we won vs. FreQ (plus+) 2-0. In the finals we had to play aginst CT1. Dread had to leave before the match started, so nuby entered the game. All the time he had slides, but anyway, we won the first two matches. Then we lost focus and it was 2-1. After the 3rd match FoFo had to leave and nuby got disconnected. Only Subz and me were left xD. Well so CT allowed us to let Buddha Machine and JS join. JS was very good, he got the flag many times and buddha machine was ok, but he didnt bother to res when subz and me were dead and Js was boxed by enemies. So we lost the other matches and CT won.

Anyway, GJ all TXers, it was great fun I hope there will be another CTF w/ FortFzx tourney.
