hi tronners,
the last few weeks i ve a big problem with crazy tronners open sumo server. i enter the server and everything is buggy. i think people are starting to say whiner to me, but in fact its just unplayable.
i hope i am able to get the image here: Laughing

i tested the server in single player mode to and the problem was the same.
i made a whole video, so if anyone needs more details about the problem i ll try to upload it anywhere.

maybe these are the new ctos settings and i am too stupid to get it, but in my opinion its just annoying. Cool

so maybe some of u guys are able to solve my problem.

I get something like that very rarely, but mine usually create a giant gap in my wall and send me out of the zone. One even went so far as to send me into the rim, where I died. It was really weird.

I sometimes have to play with big lagometers and strange slides. It is normal for me.

the problem with teleports (that BigD described) is caused by a major server lag
the thing with huge lagometeres is classic lag
the shwuli problem looks very similiar to firsst styball round, when you entering 12-axes after playing on 4-axes. i think it's a problem with client-server synchronization,
no reliability. Smile

aren't those the features of UDP transport? Smile

That already happened to me.

Was my ISP playing tricks. It's a kind of lag I endured, but not anymore.

dunno why the lag is like what you described, or just slides, or jumps...

still, when I had that, it was lag, clearly, and it went better when my ISP got more stable.

I hardly think it has anything to do with the server...
Do you have the same Issue on other servers?
on other CT servers? (hosted on the same machine, so catfight, fortress, styball...)
