A suggestion,
Ady and I played on catfight today and it was fun. I like the variety, it's a whole new challenge =}. I think it'd be great to have catfight on a larger scale. at the moment the client limit is 4, right? Some of the maps, Race You comes to mind, would have to be readjusted, but it'd be cool like that smily

The server is called shark fight.
It can be played 1 vs 1, 1 vs 1 vs 1 or 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1. You can consider it a generalization of catfight.
Map 1: regular sumo
Map 2: A square grid of the size of 2nd map of dogfight with a zone for each player. Especially if there are 3 or 4 players it will be funny because you may want to protect your zone or attack another one. (Maybe, to prevent neverending round if everybody just stays in his zone, after 2 minutes zones begin to shrink, or more interesting, if possible, to move clockwise around the rim :D)
Map 3: Something with sling (i don't have a specific idea yet)
Map 4: Octa or hexa sumo (the zone must be big enough)
Map 5: Nano sumo (the 5th map from dogfight, only that there must be 4 access paths on all 4 directions)
Map 6: Chico sumo (for the moment, i think the chico sumo map from ctwf is good enough)
Map 7: no idea yet
Map 8: Fort: the player with the most points is def, the other 1, 2 or 3 are in a "team" and attack :D. After the zone is conquered, def is smitten if not dead yet :P and the remaining attackers continue with sumo.
Map 9: Race (9th map from catfight mirrored, and probably bigger zone)
Map 10: Descending circles (10th map from dogfight, only that, as in map 5, you provide entrance for all 4 directions)
Scoring:
suiciding - 0 points
dumping - 30 points
4th place - 0 points
3rd place - 30 points
2nd place - 60 points
1st place - 100 points |
if so i have the maps and a script started for it, i just have not have time to finish it yet.
the maps are
1) Sumo!!!
2) Fortress Time!!!
3) Octa Sling
4) Hepta Sumo!
5) Nano Sumo
6) Chico Sumo
7) Leaders Fort
8) Race for four
9) Loosers Fort
10) Ever decreasing circles
I don't know when i'll have time to finish it, it is on my long todo list |

no not much at all. I've done a very little xml mapping and a little html/css designing, but not much beyond that. |
