I canâ??t get in the wield fortress itâ??s always full. Too many people are there anymore.
but i think a donation system would help out now that there is a lot of traffic.
what about a time limit that people can be on the server. per day or per hour. too many people just stay there and donâ??t leave for hours at a time. so if you could auto kick them for 15 minutes after an our of play only if server is full then that would give time for others to come and play. i donâ??t know just an idea

I'm not sure that's a good idea. It would be a bit unfair to get kick when you enjoy the server so much, don't you think?

Maybe it would be a better idea to have more than one Wild Fortress, each of them exactly same but sharing the same ladder tables..

That sounds good. i have just had a hard time getting in today. Also what about the n00b free one.
And i know Iâ??m one of those that stay for hours at a time.

Yeah, wild is very popular now, we have to use it to put on the donation system and perhaps put a mirror of it.

And this mirror can become the protected one we said a time ago, but it means a lot of work more that just copying the settings and puting in another port.

You should make Wild Fortress Part Deux or Classic Wild Fortress...I see newly added maps all the time you should put the old classic maps in the classic fortress

That actually sounds like a good idea there are a bunch of maps almost too many for one fortress or a 2 identical fortresses.
a classic and mabe with a few new maps
and a new mabe with some classic maps

if we get too many new maps we will have to either vote on them to get rid of some ore keep adding them to the classic until they are both full again

Can be an opcion, splitting the maps in 2 fortress if we get too much. A easy way is to add a column on mysql table in way to choose the server. I think it will be the esay way to make the mirror, just need another condicion on the php script query.

There already is an extra column with the thought of making an extra fortress. No extra work is needed there.

What we would like is some kind of authentication system for the new fortress, so it's experienced players only. The noobs and old schoolers (and fakers) can battle it out on the Classic Fortress.

I agree with authentication, but perhaps we can put up first and do it later.

I think authentication first. It would encourage people to register.

I would also like at least half a dozen brand new maps for the new fortress, again, to encourage the good players to register. Maybe a new mode or 2 - not easy to do ( any idea's welcome).

There's no rush, the Wild Fortress is doing well, I can get on 90% of the time, and at those times i can't it's good to play on different servers.

I don't want to put up another server in a rush, it has to be a bit special.
