If it's basic lock and unlock the server and keep the players happy, I can put some instant chats up and it shouldn't be much of a hassle. I think I can handle it if nobody is available.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. These should be all you need, if I haven't forgotten any.

Code:

/login admin_pass #you need to login to kick/lock/etc
/admin MAX_CLIENTS 0 #lock it
/admin MAX_CLIENTS 16 #open it
/players #see list of players and their id
/admin kick id #where id is the result from the last query of the player you want to kick

I'll pm you the admin_pass when the server is up.

sometimes /admin kick player_id doesn't work, then you got to /admin kick full_player_name

make sure to unlock it before leaving... I forgot on bugfarm during ladle

and player_full_name is as it is shown on /players like mine is ct_ky13

Spoke to epsy, and he said Hoax will admin it. As he's not participating in it.

Ed's TST Server is up.
Hoax has the admin pass (share it with who you need to).
It is built on the latest 0.2.8 branch with armathentication not enabled (I'll leave that task for another day Smile

).
Aside from server details, the settings file looks like this:

Servers

The behaviour of all servers participating in the TST will be exactly the same, using settings which are provided by us to the server administrators and only those.
The chosen solution to quickly load TST settings is a built-in-map configuration, and can be used using this command:

MAP_FILE Durka/sumo/team-0.0.8.aamap.xml
Server administrators must use this setting and only this setting
Exceptions to this rule are settings which have no effect on game-play, and are made to make server administrating run at it's best.

I would prefer that you stick to that, so it would be sure that config across servers are the same, since some servers could not have examples/teamsumo.cfg installed

and here is the round where i ruled Razz

first match was against:
Hay-Lin/Cid
Epsy/Flash
Legit (Viper didn't show up)

Congratz to SageLord and Goody, who won the TST 2008.02! Smile

I hope you all enjoyed the evening, even those who didn't have a partner.

Looking forwards to the next TST, i've started a feedback topic on our forums to know haw do you want the next TST to be, i've made serval proposals, including the one to expand the TST to handle up to 32 teams, I really would like to know what you think about it, and maybe reconsidering the � no switches after registration closure � rule.

So, please, post your feedback, players, server admins, and everyone who contributed to make this TST playable.
