have you noticed all the people who change their name slightly just to top the leaderboard?

psyko has 2 in the top 5, owned is 3rd and 13th.
and if you search for "earth" earthyq has 26 names... although most are only 1 or 2 games, add them all to his ladder score and he's not top anymore. (and thats without all his other names like krake/spot/etc... which would bring his score down loads)


i'm not suggesting you go through everybody's scores, but surely for top 10 players, now and again you can combine the scores of all the names they used in the last 3 weeks...... to make it accurate.






ps. if you think i'm saying this just to be top..... well, duh.

pps. although i did use "inf" for a while which would lower my score.

Is it really important ? The pb here is that some players are taking the ladder position too seriously ...
Anyway, that would be accurate if we use the gridname field in the future. Where in the future ? I don't know

Infamous, the reason I am owned and woned, is because I recently changed my name to woned. I rarely play as owned any more.
But with earthyq, it is kinda ridiculous, look at all of his names.

spot i dont want any scores deleted... tbh it was a lot more about owned's score than yours.

my actual point is, what stops me (or a good player) from playing for 100 rounds and changing their name, and doing it again and again... so they eventually get a score on top ?
