The up-to-date answer should be:
get bzr and the sty branch there there :
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~armagetronad-dev/armagetronad/0.2.8-armagetronad-sty

syntax should be something like:
bzr checkout http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~armagetronad-dev/armagetronad/0.2.8-armagetronad-sty

then build the source code.

on linux:
./bootstrap.sh
./configure
make
sudo make install

will make it.

On windows, be prepare to suffer a bit more. None have tried it yet as far as I know.

really, forget the patch and get the source code with patch already applied on with bazaar as I told you ... The patch will not fit straighforwardly with last source code version. It has been applied by z-man on a branch available at launchpad using bzr, so you should go for it.

So basically what you guys are doing is trying to perfect the patch so that someone can just download it and use it....... instead of hving to debugg and rebuild it? Cool..... maybe I'll be the one to make a windows one

That link Voodoo gave you pointed to the arma team's branch of arma which has had the pig patch applied to it already, to save you having to obtain an old version of the 0.2.8 svn source and applying the pig patch yourself before building. That's nothing to do with us.
We have our own hacked source that builds on top of an old sty hacked branch that allows for moving zones and some basic scripting additions among other things. Our hack is presently not compatable with the latest builds, hence the lack of armathentication, etc.

Well this went from Kriki, to Ratchet. I don't know if it crossed your minds that Kriki knows nothing about how to do any of the coding. He wants you to write it for him so he can get the credit for making the server. Now I don't know about the coding but I don't think you want to do this so this was pretty pointless.
