Hi all CT's i heard that you are the only ones who know how to hack for servers with pigsty patch.I would like to ask you how can i make "shooting sumo" with pigsty patch in armagetron.Do i need a hack version of armagetron or somethink,do i need config for Shooting sumo and how can i make shooting sumo with pigsty patch . I hope you wont be mad at me for that stupid topic but i realy need to ask you cuz your the only ones who know that.

download the 0.2.8.0 branch from subversion

apply the patch (not sure how to on windows) i think you can patch it with eclipse
compile the code(not sure how to on windows) GCC and this site may help
configure the settings your see the settings in the patch file

I think, but I'm not sure, that the pigsty patch no longer works with the latest 0.2.8 branch.
There's been too many changes to that branch and the sty patch hasn't been updated to reflect these changes.

We have a hacked version of the server that we use. This includes the sty patch and many many more additions. Mainly by our resident arma hacker Voodoo.

You can read about some of the features here: http://crazy-tronners.com/wiki although this is not up to date, there are more features that aren't yet included there. But you'll get the idea.

A few of the features can be a bit buggy. But there's a lot of new features
This is the version of arma that runs CTWF.

If you want a copy of this let us know. It only comes in source code form so you will have to be able able to build it yourself (but not have to apply any patches, they're already included).

I agree, and the topic changes to something more meaningful.

It needs to be patched in some way. Arma by default has no sty settings.

Please read Kyle's and my post again and proceed from there.

For the most simple install on linux:
./bootstrap.sh
./configure --disable-glout
./make && make install

we never hide it, it is just still in work-in-progress status. You can have it as it is but don't complain about bugs

I have windows and i want a sumo like CTWF has it that map and sumo with teams it is a big zone fast shooting and those things... I hope you can help ne and Durka what you mean with "Yout letting it out?Can i see it?" :S

If you're running it on windows, you're pretty much on your own whichever route you take.
Unless someone builds you an exe file from the source code.

Try to describe your "shooting sumo" thing ... can be quite easy to set up if it seems interesting. But the way you describe it so far is quite unclear to me... plus I pretty sure shooting will kill sumo game the 2 things doesn't fit very well together in my opinion. look at long tail sumo in ctwf...
