it all depends on players there are many tactics... if you won't let build enemy def you actually don't need to defend cause most of enemies will go to help their def...

Owned it is not figured into the ladder score. it is just a field that can be viewable.

You are punished on the ladder for being teamkilled, you should have been more careful (ok, there are exceptions). But not for teamkilling. Usually not your fault.

If it's stupid, how come those at the top of the ladder, ie the better players, have a far lower teamkilled average than those further down?

it is a bit lower at the top but maybe since they split early (as most people on the top are mostly defenders) they dont get the chance to be tked by their team splitting too early or killing them on attack. It is also harder to tk a defender than a attacker as they are usually inside their line

@ ed you said that they were punished for being TKed. so the people at the top naturally would not have as many TK's because of the way the ladder is made. no ladder is going to be perfect i just ignore them anymore. I still like the in game one because it tells you how well you are doing at that specific time rather than a long period.

then fix the influence settings to give something correct, to distungish suicides and TKs

As i said before i get tk's to my name when they don't even hit my line or when it clearly isnt my fault. But i suppose this would affect the influence of getting kills and everything would be thrown into the air. I dunno how it works so teach me not say YOUR WRONG.
