Yeah I like the idea. Problem is, arma currently only records team that conquered zone, not player.

Zones v2 and scripting that is promised in 0.3.1 will change everything.
We'll have to wait and see...

Indeed, the new ladder is nice and it motivates you to play and play and play... And I'm happy that it is also possible to even gain points if you're on a "bad" team. Good job.

Another new feature: Match results.
Within each players stats try clicking on Total Matches.
This will show you all matches where you've been present at the end of the match and your score.
Click on the game number and it will show you the match results.
Once in the match results you can navigate backwards and forwards through games.

I think that's about it. Finally utilised all the data I had in mind when I was writing the data parser.
Now if i just record rounds and match number in a more orderly way I could record a total breakdown of each match, round by round, hmm.....

That has been at the back of my mind. Just never gotten around to it.
Maybe one day when I next tinker with the ladders I will.

Is there a way I can get my hands on this new ladder system? I am wanting to implement it into XzL's Server.

We use a fairly hacked server now to allow a lot of the newer stuff.
The last one that worked with a standard ladderlog.txt can be downloaded from here.
I would recommend you have a half decent grasp of php and mysql though before you start.

The one you now see in use here is integrated into the phpbb db so we get extra features many of which are not yet used.
If you want a copy of our latest hacked server source and edlog.txt parser, let us know. But you'll be in for some work.

The file to start the server.
And the sql table structure.

I think it's all there. Apart from the additions to the phpbb users table. Do what you need to with this. depending on where you take it.

Be aware, it's not for the faint hearted. Anyone who wishes to have a go themselves you will be in for a lot of work. These files are in no way complete or ready for general release. If you know what you're doing you should be able to get a ladder system the same as ours.
But since they've been asked for, they're all yours. It is an "open" game after all.

Oh and our wiki, which again, is far from complete, will help you in some way to understand some of the things.

All I ask in return is if you find any bugs, room for improvement, etc, you let us know.
