I like the staggered wall idea.
Interesting spawns. Do you see it as an 8 axes map or a twisted one?

its 4 axes, they are 90 degree turns.

What happened is that I made the map, and then realized that it would work better as a diamond, like 'Diamond of Death, Diamonds are forever' maps. Instead of recoding the map I change the axes.

what program do you guys use to make maps?

You can use any SVG creator like Inkscape. Then you can easly convert SVG -> AAMAP.
You can also use armabell which is rather buggy and needs hacks to run (windows only). You can draw maps like in MsPaint there

k its on the repository for testing, the same map could be used with regular axis, 8 axes and the current diamond configuration.
