Hi all,

I'm sorry for the problems our CT servers; I don't know exactly what problem it is, the server stopped this night and until now, I'm only able to get access through the rescue netboot system. It seems like there's some kind of partition or MBR failure, the bootmanager can't start, neighter lilo nor grub.

I will try to fix it this evening, atm I'm at work and I haven't the time to look for the reason. The Web / Database / Mail servers are up for the moment to prevent mail loss.

Hopefully, you all can live one day without CTWF

Ed and I got CTFW back up
The statscript, cat- and dogfight are down, we decided to not put them back up until things are back to normal. If something's wrong with the hardware it's best not to stress it too much

Damnit... I was in CTWF kicking ass trying to get back up to 2nd place, and it wasn't moving. Guess I know why now.

CTWF has been restarted again, stats are back up and running.

I found a serious flaw in the map rotation script that meant maps were being repeated, some maps weren't being played, etc.
Hopefully this is fixed now, I'll keep an eye on it, see what happens.

I will restart Catfight as it's used for internal ranking. But what about Dogfight?
Now "The Worlds Greatest Tron Tournament" is over, do we need it?

Or shall I put ed's highly experimental Mayhem back up, with a new name "Crazy Tronners Wild Mayhem" or something.
For those who didn't play it, it's a kind of non team 8 player version of CTWF.

Shooting? Maybe one day, I'm not the greatest fan of shooting. But it might be fun in the right environment.

I will add the ladder to it. Problem is mayhem is running of a hacked version of 0.3 to get the timer working.
CTWF is running off a hacked version of 0.2.8 to get the sty stuff and ladder stuff working.
I need to add the timer hack to the 0.2.8 hacked source and recompile, so all the hacks are in one place.
Trouble is the server aint back to full strength right now, and I can't compile from source in it's current state.
It's no problem, we just don't have the ladders yet.

But hey "Crazy Tronners Wild Mayhem" is up for now.
Some features:
It will insult all who enter
There are 3 stages to each map, the settings change as the round progresses, different stage settings for each map.
There's about 12 maps spread across 8 stages.

I had a good blast on in last night, it's a lot of fun. Although Voodoo proved why he's Rank 1.
