Any chance newly registered members don't get access to post anything until they've read a message that tells them to do something (other than the visual validation thing on the registration form)? Which of couse, they couldn't see until they had registered. Make it a bit difficult to recognize directly (don't say "Click here to learn how to post").

Just a thought. To prevent more of these stupid spammers.

shit ed, erase the user 2, i erased about 100 users right now and i'm not close to finish i will continue erasing these fuckers bots later and setting up the filter or something else, maybe i will set the on demand register to avoid all the shit.

Sorry, ed doesn't have admin access. I know admin does, but that would involve logging out, logging in, deleting user, then logging out and back in again.
I rarely have time for all that.
Not saying I want admin access for ed. If I get some time admin will delete some spammers.

It polls to see how long the registration form was filled out. If it was done in like 1 second (by a bot), then it voids the form.

And I just deleted a spam post. First by me since the "protection" was put in place.
I can live without quick reply, if that's what's causing it.

Why not using something like an captcha code for registration? The bots can't register without knowing the right imagecode.

pta we ahve already image code and email verification and 2 new antispam systems... the next step is adding a to write question or something like this....

but i haven't time until next weekend, let's c how it goes, 4 now it's going better just 1 spam in all the weekend, we used to have 4/day...

one other thing is that one spam may have been a registered user already.

I would say give it a month to get out all the old spammers out of the system and then see
